Ryan Kaminski is Senior Program Manager for Human Rights at the United Nations Foundation. Ryan oversees the Foundation’s strategic partnerships with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights; connects the UN Association of the USA grassroots advocate network to the UN human rights system, and provides expert analysis on UN human rights mechanisms. Previously, Ryan was a research associate with the Council on Foreign Relations International Institutions and Global Governance program and a U.S. Fulbright Fellow in Hong Kong. He has also held positions with the Permanent Mission of Papua New Guinea to the United Nations, Amnesty International USA, and Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
 
Ryan is a Council on Foreign Relations Term member and recipient of the Columbia University Jal Pavry Award for Outstanding Research in International Peace and Understanding, Leo Nevas Human Rights Youth Advocate Award, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security Graduate Research Fellowship. He has published in the Yale Journal of International Affairs, Reuters, Atlantic.Com, Haaretz, The Hill, Houston Chronicle, Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, and with the Stanley Foundation. Ryan received his BA from the University of Chicago and MIA from Columbia University (SIPA). He speaks Mandarin Chinese.
